Yixi Zhang MD

 After a 4 year journey at UC Berkeley, where I studied Chemistry, I spent the next 10+ years on the east coast.  I studied medicine at Harvard Medical School, and attended Brown University for my internal medicine residency.  Missing the warm weather of the west coast, I returned to Los Angeles 2019, where I joined hospital medicine focusing on inpatient care.  However, seeing the disconnect between outpatient and inpatient care, I decided to open my own practice in Southern California in the midst of COVID 19 pandemic, for the past 2.5 years.  Now relocated to San Jose, I want to continue with primary care to serve the ever growing local community. I have a special focus on preventative medicine, women's health, and geriatric care.

In my free time I love hiking, jogging, painting, and traveling.  I also enjoy exploring local cuisines and cooking a good meal for my self and my friends.
